About us

Since 2011, the First Nations Adult Education School Council (FNAESC) has been actively working to take charge of and improve educational services for First Nations adults in Quebec.

The FNAESC also plays an important role in the area of First Nations housing, a major concern marked by growing needs and limited resources. Its commitment to this sector is based primarily on capacity building, in order to sustainably support communities and address current and future challenges.

Furthermore, the implementation and maintenance of organized structures such as the Community of Practice in Housing (CoPH) and the Point of Contact in Housing (PoCH) are innovative projects administered by the School Council.

First Nations members wishing to develop or enhance their skills in the field of housing, and who wish to actively contribute to First Nations solutions and capacity building.

Employers

Organizations and employers who wish to act as sponsors by offering a learning environment and support to interns, thereby contributing to skills development and knowledge transfer.

  • First Nations communities in Quebec and affiliated organizations (Band Councils, Tribal Councils, self-governance entities, and others);
